Article likes

The Like feature uses a random browser cookie named anambra_likes_visitor, set for up to one year. The service stores an article identifier with this random identifier to count likes and limit repeat likes. It does not require a name, email address or sign-in. Clearing cookies permits a new browser identity.

Hosting and device storage

The hosting and security providers process requests and may maintain technical logs, including network identifiers. The service worker stores an offline notice and an icon in browser cache; articles and like counts are fetched from the network.

Advertising and embedded content

The site includes Google AdSense and content from platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and Telegram. When loaded or opened, those services may receive your IP address and browser information and may use cookies under their own policies.
